During the boat ride, you’ll get to witness the fascinating underwater ruins of the Sunken City, stroll around the village of Kaleköy (known as ancient Simena), and take a dip in several stunning bays, including Burç Bay and Karemlik Bay, where you may even spot some sea turtles. Once we return to land, you’ll have the chance to delve into the history of the Lycian civilization by visiting the Museum of Lycian Civilizations and the intriguing rock-carved tombs of ancient Myra, among other notable sites.

  • Demre Harbour

    We will go to Demre harbour where a boat will be waiting for you to begin your trip to Kekova. Once the anchor is lifted, we will set off.

  • Kekova Island and Sunken City

    Embark on a remarkable journey around the Sunken City of Kekova and unravel its intriguing past. The ancient city of Dolchiste was submerged in water after a powerful earthquake in the 2nd century, leaving behind captivating underwater remains that are sure to amaze you. Swimming is prohibited in this protected area, but fear not, as you can explore the site by cruising along the ruins on our boat. This offers you a fantastic opportunity to take stunning photos you will cherish forever.

  • Simena Castle

    Entrance fee: 4 euros (or free with Museum Pass Turkey or Mediterranean Museum Pass).

    During our trip, we will stop at Kaleköy port, also known as ancient Simena. You will have an hour to explore this charming village, which boasts castle ruins and a necropolis. If you choose to hike up the hillside, you will be rewarded with spectacular vistas of the Kekova region. Alternatively, you can spend your remaining time swimming in the crystal-clear waters or simply admiring Simena Castle from below.

  • Esmeralda Bay

    It’s time for a lunch and swim break at the stunning Esmeralda Bay. Take a moment to relax and enjoy the serenity of this beautiful spot on our exciting journey.

  • Burç Bay

    Take a refreshing swim break in Burç Bay and experience the peaceful surroundings. The water feels cooler here, thanks to the natural cold springs beneath the surface.

  • Gokkaya Bay

    We will take a break to swim in Gökkaya Bay, where you can immerse yourself in the breathtaking natural surroundings and choose to engage in any of the thrilling water sports available.

  • Pirates Cave

    Explore this fascinating cave, known for its impressive size and unique curved entrance, that has formed naturally over time.

  • Karemlik Bay

    In the Mediterranean Sea, there are a total of 7 known sea turtle species, and 3 of them can be found in Karemlik Bay. You can observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat during your visit.

  • Demre Harbour

    Once you complete your exciting boat ride, our boat will anchor at Demre Port. From there, your tour will proceed with a visit to a museum that is located nearby.

  • St. Nicholas Church (optional stop)

    We’re now heading to the Santa Claus Museum in the centre of Demre town for our next stop on the tour. This fascinating archaeological site was first constructed in 520 A.D. as a church dedicated to the memory of St. Nicholas of Myra, a revered patron saint from the 4th century. You can immerse yourself in the history of this former church.

  • The Ancient City of Myra

    Duration: 1 hour

    Explore the renowned archaeological site of Demre and witness the ancient ruins of Myra dating back to the 5th century B.C. Immerse yourself in history as you observe the impressive Roman-style theatre, the largest in Lycia, and the eerie rock-cut tombs carved into the cliffs above. Take your time to explore these two fascinating highlights fully.

  • Demre to Kalkan
